This section is dedicated all the things we enjoy but just don't have time to put into the formal sections of the Tankers' W&MH Homepage. It isn't that the material in this section is "not good enough," it's just that we only have so much time. The information here is unfiltered, unedited, and not very organized. Essentiality the material in this section is just presented "as is." We think you will still find much of it of use. This section may not last long; as our space fills up, it will be the first thing to go.

The new game from Origins is a third-person shooter. If you remember, and enjoyed, the old arcade game Heavy Barrel you'll love Crusader. The graphics are well done and very violent. The game play is straightforward and perhaps a bit monotonous, but the story is good and the video well done. If you want some mindless violence and are tired of Doom! then Crusader is your game. If you're looking for depth of play or real tactics and strategy keep looking.
Here are some logs from MW2 discussions on AOL and the Internet. Lots of good information. It's a 380K text file zipped to about 130K.
If you liked MW2 just go get it. The expansion adds more weapons including the anti-missile system and the artillery missile. About a dozen more mechs are also included. More terrain types are included including an underwater battle. The missions are a lot tougher but also probably more interesting.
We recently came across a game by a company called Icarus Software Inc. The game is entitled Star Fleet Combat Simulator: The Academy (SFCS) and is available for free as shareware (the registered version is only $20). The game is a great tactical space combat game with a traditional board game feel to it. If you have any interest in science fiction games check out SFCS at http://www.io.org/~icarus/Overview.html
This is the latest release from Interactive Magic, the makers of Apache. If you couldn't get enough of X-Wing, Tie Fighter, and Wing Commnader 3 then this is the game for you. It is a well done space flight simulator with some interesting operational elements. We Beta tested this one so look for a full review here soon.
